The Puppy Adoption Process

Our puppy adoption fee is $2,000 + applicable shipping and state sales tax.

Methods of Puppy Delivery

We do not ship puppies in cargo. You may pick up your puppy at our home or we will meet you at the San Diego airport for an additional $150 charge or we will deliver to your local airport with a “flight nanny” for an additional $500 plus the cost of airline tickets and other travel expenses.

All of our puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract. There is a $500 deposit that is required after your application has been approved and a specific litter has been identified. You will be placed on our reservation list in the order that we receive your deposit. Reservation lists may fill up fast and may be booked months in advance. Joyful Oaks Pudelpointers reserves the right to retain any puppy for future breeding purposes.

California State sales tax of 7.75% = $248.00 for California residents.

Step 1: Complete the “Puppy Adoption Application” form by clicking on the link below. Please fill out as completely as possible. We would like to get to know you better and help make sure you get a puppy that best meets your family’s needs.

Step 2: We will review your application and get back with you within 48 hours to discuss your application and to answer any questions you may have.

Step 3: After your application has been approved and a specific litter has been identified, you may submit a $500 dollar deposit. The following methods of payment for the deposit are accepted: Credit or Debit Card / Bank Transfer / Personal check via snail mail / Paypal to brad316s@gmail.com

Step 4: Once the deposit has been received you will officially be on our reservation list.

Step 5: When the puppies are born, you will be notified by email.

Step 6: We will submit pictures and or videos to our social media accounts and website every two weeks, so you have an opportunity to see the cute little guys grow up.

Step 7: When the puppies are 8 weeks old, families with deposits/reservations are invited to visit/choose/take home their puppy. Appointment will be based upon your placement on the reservation list. Full payment, in the form of a cashier’s check, is due at the week eight visit/pickup.

Due to a concern for the health of all our puppies, we do not allow visitors to come and see our puppies until they are eight weeks of age. Parvo is a real threat until the puppies have been fully vaccinated. By eight weeks of age, the puppies will have had their first shots, have been weaned, and their personalities will have begun to develop.

We are not open to the public.
